Ⅰ.Long History
There was the record that the inshore common folk made salt by boiling the seawater in the year of Qianyuan reign of Tang Dynasty (AD 758). There remains above one thousand years' ancient saltpan sites dug in stone into slots for filling seawater to make salt before 1200 years in Hainan Island.
At present, the annual output of sea salt is about 200,000 tons in Hainan Island, of which, Yinggehai Salt Field is the largest salt producing area in the south of China, taking an area of 38 sq. km with annual output of sea salt of about 150,000 tons.

Ⅱ. Superior and exceptional natural conditions
The producing areas of natural solarization salt are distributed along the coastline of southwest part of Hainan Island. As one of aral sea areas in the world of low rainfall with mean annual rainfall of about 800mm, long sunshine time, large wind power, high temperature (mean annual temperature of 260C, to the limit, the highest temperature is 360C) , strong evaporation capacity (mean annual evaporation capacity, about 2400mm), high sea concentration with 3.5 baume throughout the year, this area is good for the developing the production of sea salt.

Ⅲ. The raw materials for solarizing sea salt: clear, pure and non-pollution seawater
At present, Hainan Island is one of the best ecological environmental protection areas in China. According to the Bulletin of Marine Environmental Quality of China in past years, the seawater quality around Hainan Island is best. The seawater for solarizing salt is clear and pure, free of any pollution, such as industrial pollution, water pollution of metropolis and river pollution. The PH value of seawater is 8.36, The ratio of sodium to magnesium is up to 8.3 that the other domestic sea salt areas can't compare with it. Naturally solarized by the sunlight from such non-pollution seawater, Hainan Island Salt is the 100% environmental protection food.

Ⅳ.Rich in varieties microelements available to the body
Tested by the state authorized institute, the salt of Hainan Island is rich in varieties microelements available to the body such as sodium, calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, zinc, strontium, selenium, iodine etc. Especially, the content of strontium (Sr) is up to 35MG/KG, 5 times higher than 5.5MG/KG that of Fujian, and 11 times higher than 2.91MG/KG that of Japan. The strontium (Sr) is the important element for bone growth of the body, especially for treating the osteoporosis of middle aged and elder people. Strontium bromide, the compound of strontium, is a kind of stomachic, strontium lactate can be used for treating epilepsy etc., very beneficial to the human body. Strontium (Sr) has stronger penetrating capacity to the food, if you cook the food with the salt having high content strontium, there is not only beneficial to the health but also having good taste.

Ⅴ. Primitive production process, without pollution arising from external effect
Up to the present, the production process of solarization salt of Hainan Island still remains the primitive operation method, for example, delivering seawater into salt field and making the salt by solarizing which is nothing short of natural evaporation of and concentration. In addition, the tools for collecting, storing and transporting the salt is made of wood and bamboo. After washing and centrifugal dewatering, sift and select the salt by manually operation, and then pack, sell and export. There is no pollution from mechanical equipment in the salt, remaining the status of environmental protection all the time. The salt produced in Japan, Australia etc. is made by mechanized operation. The vacuum container evaporation process will destroy the microelements in the seawater, and the taste of salt will be changed bitter and hot, this is the greatest difference between them.

Ⅵ. Hainan Island Salt, having good taste, pure, fresh and salty
All the customers who have licked the Hainan Island Salt said that the taste of the salt is pure, fresh and salty, having an aftertaste of sweet. The other sea salt or the well salt at home and broad can't compare with it. The vacuum container salt from Japan and Australia with taste of bitter and hot is can't compare with it even more. The Korean customers process the pickled vegetables using the Hainan Island Salt and other salt separately, and the result shows that the taste and color of the pickled vegetables are the best which are made using Hainan Island Salt. We can say without overstating that with the advantaged environmental protection, "Hainan Island Salt " is a kind of pure natural greed food.

Ⅶ. Hainan Island Salt has obtained the Registration Certificate of Origin Production Place Mark as well as the ISO9001 and HACCP International Quality Standard Accreditations.
Through the strict evaluation by the experts group of General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China, "Hainan Island Salt" obtained the Registration Certificate of Origin Production Place Mark in Nov. 2004, becoming the only salt product obtaining the origin production place mark in China. The processing and service of solarization salt obtained international quality standard accreditations of ISO 9001 and HACCP (the food safety management system approved by Codex Alimentarius Commission). Its production enterprise is the first salt export enterprise with double accreditations in China.
